Lower Makefield Township Farmer’s Market is back at Charlann Farms. They will be there every Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. June through September. c. LMT Walking Groups final meet for the Summer - Saturday, August 20th at 10:00 a.m. Walkers will meet at the Community Center, 1550 Oxford Valley Rd Yardley, PA 19067. No registration is required. Community Day is Saturday August 27th at 12:00 pm, there are more food trucks than ever! live music, 3v3 basketball tournament, a variety of vendors and free rides and activities will also be available. ENGINEER’S REPORT PROJECT UPDATES a. Sandy Run Road – Traffic Engineer made additional recommendations at the March 2, 2022 Board of Supervisors meeting. b. Memorial Park Project –DCNR conducted final inspection. c. Multi-Use Trail – Contractor has started work. d. Woodside Bike Path – NPDES and E&S permits were issued. RVE finalizing bid documents. e. Big Oak/Makefield Road Signal Upgrade – PennDOT has issued the permit for the upgrade to the traffic signal and the construction plan is underway. See Chief’s Report. f. Route 332/Mirror Lake Signal Interconnection – Project work complete, need to submit for reimbursement. g. 2022 Road Program – Construction has begun on Tanglewood & Bluestone Drive developments; ADA ramps and inlet repairs have started. Paving scheduled to begin August 2022. h. Regency at Yardley Pedestrian Improvements – Contract was awarded to Michael Baker at the August 3, 2022 Board of Supervisors meeting.
