COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT a. Reminder – During this portion of the agenda residents and Youth Organizations may call in to make a special announcement or contact the township at admin@lmt.org to request a special announcement be added to the agenda. b. Lower Makefield Township Farmer’s Market is back at Charlann Farms. They will be there every Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. June through September. c. The EAC will be hosting a lecture series Thursdays September 22, and 29 all about electricity called “You Flip the Switch and the Lights (better) come on! How the Electricity Gets From the Generator to the House.” d. The Styrofoam Recycling event will be held at the Township building, 1100 Edgewood Road Yardley, PA 19067 on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:00 am to noon. Bring your Styrofoam, wine corks, amber/white plastic pill containers & alkaline household batteries.

ENGINEER’S REPORT a. Consider Escrow Release #2 for the Prickett Preserve Development to ELU DeLuca Yardley, LLC in the amount of $450,348.00. b. Consider Escrow Release #3 for the Prickett Preserve Development to ELU DeLuca Yardley, LLC in the amount of $139,672.00. c. Consider award of the Maplevale Drainage Improvements Project – Phase 1 to Bencardino Excavating, Inc. for the amount of $157,955.00 d. Consider award of the Woodside Road Bike Path project to Richard E. Peirson Construction Co. Inc. for the amount of $646,200.00 and Add Alternate #1 for the amount of $51,165.00 e. Consider award of the South Drive Culvert Replacement project to Richard E. Peirson Construction Co. Inc. for the amount of $238,413.50
PROJECT UPDATES a. Sandy Run Road – Board approved additional safety improvements recommended by our Traffic Engineer. b. Memorial Park Project – DCNR conducted final inspection. c. Multi-Use Trail – Work is in progress, anticipated to be completed by the end of the year. d. Woodside Bike Path – NPDES and E&S permits were issued. Bids received for consideration on this agenda. e. Big Oak/Makefield Road Signal Upgrade – PennDOT has issued the permit for the upgrade to the traffic signal and the construction plan is underway. f. 2022 Road Program – Construction has begun on Tanglewood & Bluestone Drive developments; ADA ramps and inlet repairs have started. Paving work has started. g. Regency at Yardley Pedestrian Improvements – Michael Baker has started design work.
